Idaho Space Grant Research
ISGC member institution faculty are encouraged to apply for Research Seed Grants (RSG’s) to enable them to expand their NASA-related research competence, and this ISGC seed grant proposal submission program continues to be the highlight of the ISGC research infrastructure program. Through Research Seed Grants, the faculty will develop proposals for external review by the Advisory Council and establish a stronger relationship with NASA Centers. Each affiliate research institution is asked to distribute and actively publicize the Research Seed Grant call for proposal during the months preceding the application due date.
Additionally, ISGC funded researchers are featured on the ISGC website semi-annually and in the ISGC newsletter. This promotes the research programs at affiliate institutions.
To further involve undergraduate students in research activities, recipients of Research Seed Grants are encouraged to mentor undergraduate students.
